Members are encouraged to upload content for inclusion in the VBBA periodic newsletter. Please observe the following guidelines.
Allowed Article formats
- The preferred format would be documents that are readable by Open Office and Microsoft Office which includes Word documents and Rich Text documents. You may include images, but the editors reserve the right to modify or exclude the images due to space constraints.
- Articles can be plain text files as created by a text editor such as Notepad or Wordpad if access to an office suite is not available. A free office suite called Open Office is available for download for those with high speed internet access.
- If there are multiple files, you may archive the files in Zip format or other freely available archive formats. This allows uploading all of the files at once.
- Please include the date in the filename of your upload to assist future archiving.
- Do not include any macros in your documents as they will be removed.
- Do not use the same filename as an existing upload.
- The editor(s) request that you proofread, spell-check and write for clarity.
Upload process
At the top right and the bottom of this page is a link named "Attach" that will take you to the upload page or click here. When you are asked for a password, simply enter "newsletter" and then follow the instructions there to upload your potential newsletter content.
Request of notification
You may email the Communications Committee after uploading if you require email verification that your upload was successful.
