The Indianapolis Blues joined the Vintage Base Ball Association beginning in the 2002 season. The Blues play by the rules of base ball as accepted at the December 9, 1863 meeting of the National Association of Base Ball Players. The most noticeable differences between the game in 1864 and the game in the 21st century are no gloves and underhand pitching. Home matches are played at Woodmen Park and Craig Park in Greenwood (southern suburb of Indianapolis). ContactScott Andersen |
