Members of the Clodbuster Base Ball Club re-create the early game of Base Ball against other vintage Base Ball clubs at various locations around the Dayton, OH area. The Clodbusters also travel to a number of locations in the Midwest to re-create vintage Base Ball matches. We have adopted rules of the 1860s as reflective of the game that is played between neighboring communities. Our intent is to demonstrate the spirit of the gentlemen's matches. The club's name - Clodbusters - represents the farm heritage of plowing or busting clods of dirt in preparation for planting. ContactJim Wilson  |
