Cleveland Blues Base Ball Club

Location
Cleveland, OH
Rules Used
1860

The Cleveland Blues Base Ball Club is a Vintage Base Ball Club out of Cleveland Ohio, and patterned after the Cleveland Blues Base Ball Club of the National League (1879-1883), playing by 1860's Base Ball Rules. The club was founded on September 13th, 2008, which is the anniversery of Hugh "One Arm" Daily's 1883 no-hitter. The club's home field is the legendary League Park - http://www.leaguepark.org/(approve sites). Currently, League Park is not operational, yet there are many plans to renovate the landmark. Please sign the Save League Park Petition -http://www.petitiononline.com/lp1891/petition.html(approve sites) to help expidite the process.

Members of the Blues are sons of Cleveland, living and working in Cuyahoga County. Our goal is to play the great game of base ball as it was meant to be played; with good effort and fine sportsmanship. The team is looking forward to playing a packed 2009 schedule against the other fine vintage clubs of the Western Reserve, Ohio and other states and territories of the country.
