The Huntington Champion Hill 'Toppers' Vintage Base Ball Club celebrated its inaugural campaign in 2005. The club's name comes from a 1862 Civil War battle in Mississippi, Champion Hill (AKA Battle of Baker Creek), in which 17 young men from Huntington lost their lives. It is in their honor that we celebrate this fine game. We follow the Rules of 1862 except as amended where found to be impracticable by the club. ContactMichael Meyer |
